EDENGENE COMPOSITES Laid Scrim in this field, scrims are directly laminated on non-wovens. On the one hand a conductive yarn which contains a certain percentage of stainless steel fibres reinforces the non-woven, on the other hand this yarn passes off the electrostatic voltage/shielding.
By the way: Due to the stabilizing function of the scrims textiles can be perfectly pleated. Even under water laid scrims cut a fine figure: as an intermediate layer in cable wrapping for deepsea cables.
Introduction:This laid Scrim is a kind of economic reinforcing non-woven fabric made from continuous filament yarn(Fiberglass, or Polyester etc.) in square shape of an open mesh construction with an ultra-light mass unit (6-28g/m2), which generally applies to increase tear strength, dimensional stability, facilitate handling or act as a carrier of adhesive to be used in secondary bonding. It is typically applied when woven fabrics are too heavy and knitted products are too pliable for the application. The scrim producing process by chemically bonds non-woven yarns, also are able to enhancing the scrim with a unique glass/polyester veil, that allows for various customized demands.
