Description
Tunnel thrusters are installed in the bow or stern in order to improve docking, slow speed maneuvering, emergency steering and station keeping at zero or slow forward speed. Our tunnel thruster is available in fixed pitch or controllable pitch.

Features
Propeller can be driven by electric motor, diesel engine and hydraulic motor.
The diameter of propeller is up to 3.3 meters.
Power range up to 4200 KW.
Fixed or varied pitch is optional.
Steel or Aluminum hulls is optional.

Workshop
Our company SJMATEK has two workshops and offce of 23,000 square meters. It's assembly workshop is specially used for assembly and joint adjustment, the max sling load is 80 tons, the hoisting height is up to 20 meters.

The company has more than 20 sets of machining equipment, there are 18-meter lathes used for main propeller, big boring machine, CNC lathes, machining center, etc. Seven sets of testing instruments and equipment, including universal material testing machine, automatic pendulum impact testing machine, infrared thermometer, portable magnetic particle detector and ultrasonic detector. In addition, there are three test stands for rudder propeller, two test stands for tunnel thruster, two test stands for main propeller and one test stand for oil dispenser.

The existing production and testing equipment and facilities can meet the basic needs of product design, development, production and service.

We have years' abundant experience working with the state and governmental shipyards in china, CSSC,CSIS, design Institute, shipping owners, clients from European and East-south Asia. We have continuous collaboration with national & private ship design institutes as well.

Since the fountation of SJMATEK in 2013, we have supplied more than 200 vessels with our tunnel thruster/rudder propeller and CPP, All of them are working well.  All the products can be customized according to the requirements and the certificate accordingly is available, such as CCS, ABS, BV, LR, DNV-GL, RS, etc.
