Hydrogen fluoride (HF) is invisible to the eye (colourless) with a pungent odour. Although hydrogen fluoride (HF) is non-flammable and inexplosive, it reacts in presence of humidity with almost any metals, producing hydrogen (H2), an highly flammable gas.
