Function:
Methyl cyclopentenolone has good sensory properties and is widely used in pastry, beverage, confectionery, tobacco, toothpaste and pharmaceutical industry, especially for the aroma and aroma of coffee and tobacco. Chinese food additives hygienic standard (gb2760-2003) stipulates the edible spices that are allowed to be used. When food additives are used, the standard is the food additive methyl cyclopentenol (QB/ t2641-2004). It is mainly used to prepare the essence of maple, smoked tobacco, cream hard candy and apricot. It is usually added at the later stage of production and dissolved into dilute solution or dissolved in other flavoring. It can also be used in detergents, cosmetics and other products.
