Why is the intake valve of a forklift diesel engine larger than the exhaust valve?
Forklift diesel engines have larger inlet valve head diameters and smaller exhaust valve head diameters. Because the exhaust is squeezed out by the piston pressure, and the intake is naturally aspirated by vacuum, the exhaust is relatively easy. If the area of the intake and exhaust channels is the same, the intake air volume will be significantly insufficient.
Gas Distribution Structure of Forklift Diesel Engine:
The forklift diesel engine gas distribution mechanism is to open and close the intake and exhaust valves of each cylinder regularly in accordance with the requirements of the working cycle and ignition sequence to make fresh combustible gas mixture (gasoline engine) or air (diesel engine) enter the cylinder in time, and the exhaust gas can be discharged from the cylinder in time. During the compression and work strokes, it close the valve ensures so the combustion chamber is sealed. The internal combustion engines have similar gas distribution devises for both diesel and gasoline engines.
