Introduction: RTV-2 mold silicon rubber is also called two-component room temperature vulcanized silicone rubber; it has good flow and good operation. Add 2%-3% curing agent, the silicon rubber can still flow in 18-25 minutes, it takes 4-5 hours to completely cure the mold, and the general mold should be kept for 24 hours before use. At this time, the performance of the mold is stable. The molds have good performances such as acid and alkali resistance, aging resistance, low deformation and shrinkage resistance, high temperature resistance, resistance to tearing, etc.
Application: Mainly used in polyethylene resin, epoxy resin, PU resin of decorations and gifts copying, candle, gypsum, electronics, automobile and toys mold making.
Features: ★ Low viscosity, easy operating. ★ Good Stability. ★ Good flexibility, good strength, preparation of different hardness varieties, adapt to a variety of applications, non-deforming.
Guide to Users: 1. Curing agent (component B) should be shaken before use. 2. Component A: Component B = 100: 2-100:3, this ratio is calculated based on the weight of the two components A and B. The weight is based on the electronic weighing result. 3. After pouring the two components A and B into the container, stir them evenly with a stir bar. When the color is relatively uniform, it indicates that it has been stirred evenly. The bottom of the container and the wall of the container must be well scraped to ensure that the silicon rubber here is thoroughly mixed with the curing agent. Silicon rubber and curing agent must be stirred evenly. If there is no even mixing, the mold will appear to be one piece solidified while the other not. The uneven curing condition of the silicon rubber will affect the service life of the silicone mold and the number of times of mold overturning, and even cause the mold to be scrapped. 4. After the silicon rubber and the curing agent are evenly stirred, the vacuuming is used to discharge bubbles. The vacuuming time should not be too long. Under normal circumstances, do not exceed 10 minutes. If the vacuuming time is too long, silicon rubber produces a cross-linking reaction and cures immediately. So that the silicon rubber becomes solid, it can't be painted or poured. Silicon rubber is wasted. 5. The container should not be filled too much when vacuuming, otherwise the silicon rubber will easily overflow the container when vacuuming. 6. Slowly pour vacuum treated silicon rubber from the corner of the mold frame to make the material flow evenly, which helps the gas to flow out. The cured mold will not have bubbles. 7. The mold can be completely cured after 4-8 hours at room temperature. Do not heat and cure. Even if it is heated to accelerate its curing time, the temperature is not recommended to be higher than 60 degrees. 8. If the infused prototype belongs to a silicon-containing material such as ceramics, it is best to paint prototype for easier demolding. 9. For best results, the mold is preferably used after 24 hours.
Storage Period: In order to maintain all performance of the products, they should be used within 12 months from production date. Storage temperature should be between-5 ° c to +35 ° c. Please use it as soon as possible after opening. Part A and B, please store in dark place and seal it well.
