Ethanol / Alcohol / Ethyl alcohol is a kind of alcohol, the main component of wine, so it is also called Ethanol, some places commonly known as fire wine, is a renewable substance. The formula can also be written as C2H5OH or EtOH, Et for ethyl. Ethanol is flammable and is commonly used as a fuel, solvent and disinfectant. It is also used to make other compounds. Industrial alcohol contains a small amount of methanol. Medical alcohol refers mainly to ethanol with a concentration of about 75%, but also includes other alcohols with widely used concentrations in medicine. Ethanol and methyl ether are isomers.
