Plain Tube
Plain Tubes do not contain any additives. They are used for collecting and storing blood specimen for biochemistry, immunology and serology tests in medical inspection and applicable for all current mainstream biochemical analyzers

Clot Activator Tube
Serum tubes are coated with clot activator on the inner wall of the tubes. They are used for serum determinations in chemistry. Samples processed in these tubes may be used for routine blood donor screening, immunohematology, and diagnostic testing of serum for infectious disease.

SSGT
SSGT tubes are coated with clot activator and gel for serum separation. They are used for serum determinations in chemistry and for clinical biochemistry and immunology. The obvious characteristic of SSGT tube is used to obtain high-quality serum specimen for medical laboratories.

Glucose
The additive of VacuLab glucose tubes are sodium fluoride/potassium oxalate or EDTA/sodium fluoride. These tubes are used for glucose determinations.

EDTA
 EDTA tubes are coated with K2EDTAor K3EDTA. They are for the examination of whole blood in haematology and can be used in direct sampling analyzers without actually being opened. EDTA binds the calcium ions and therefore blocks the coagulation cascade. Erythrocytes, leucocytes and thrombocytes in an EDTA anticoagulated blood sample are stable for up to 24 hours.

Heparin
Heparin tubes are coated with spray-dried lithium heparin or sodium heparin. They are used for collecting blood specimen for biochemistry tests and some test items in blood rheology. The anticoagulants heparin activates antithrombins, thus blocking the coagulation cascade of the blood specimen producing a whole blood/ plasma sample instead of clotted blood plus serum.

Coagulation
Coagulation tubes are filled with a buffered sodium citrate solution. They are available with a citrate concentration of 0.109 mol/l (3.2%)or0.129 mol/l (3.8%). Coagulation tubes are mainly used for examination of coagulation parameters and can provide an excellent condition for the test of PT, APTT VALUES.

ESR
 ESR tubes contain a 3.8% buffered tri-sodium citrate solution (0.129mol/l) with the mixing ratio of 1 part citrate solution to 4 parts blood. They are used for blood collection and anticoagulation for sedimentation rate test.

EPGT
 EPGT Tubes contain K2 EDTA and gel. Through centrifugation, the gel can form a barrier between plasma and blood cell and totally separate them. Clinical specimen obtained is suitable for analysis of virus capacity and molecular diagnostics of undiluted plasma.

PSGT
PSGT tubes contain lithium heparin and gel for plasma separation. Through centrifugation, the gel can form a barrier between plasma and blood cell and prevent substance exchange. Plasma specimen obtained is the best choice for electrolyte test and plasma analysis in routine biochemistry and any emergent biochemistry.
