Instructions:
- Open the package, take out the sampling tube and swab. Mark relevant information on the
label of the tube or paste the barcode before sampling.
- Collect the specimen with the swab from nose or pharynx according to different sampling
requirements.
- After sampling, put the swab into the sampling tube and snap off the swab stick at the
breakpoint.
- Tighten the tube cap hard to ensure the cap firmly closed. The sampling tube with
specimen stored is not allowed inverted and must keep the tube head up. Then should be
transported to the laboratory within 48 hours at 2-8ºC. The sampling tube with specimen
stored is not allowed shipped by air.
- If it cannot be sent to the laboratory within 48 hours, it should be stored at -70 ºC or below,
and the specimens should be sent to the laboratory within 1 week. Avoid repeated freezing
and thawing.
