Ethylene Acrylic Acid (EAA for short) is a thermoplastic and extremely adhesive polymer. Due to the existence of carboxyl groups and the role of hydrogen bonds, the crystallization of the polymer is inhibited, and the linearity of the main chain is destroyed. Therefore, the transparency and toughness of EAA are improved, and the melting point and softening point are reduced.

When MI is the same, the transparency, toughness, adhesion and environmental stress cracking resistance of EAA will increase with the increase of AA content; On the contrary, its rigidity, wet steam transmission, creep resistance and chemical resistance will be better.

When the content of AA is the same, the adhesiveness and processability of EAA will be better with the increase of MI; On the contrary, its toughness and environmental stress cracking resistance will increase.
