Q: What is the Liquid Epoxy Resin Dye ?
A: This is a resin pigment in the form of liquid. You can mix it with another pigment(s) to achieve the desired color.Just add a very small amount to your resin project and you can see the result! We recommend not to add a big amount of pigment to your work at one time, but add it a little bit by a little bit to see the change of shade from light to dark.
Q:Are these Liquid Epoxy Resin Dye more opaque or translucent?
A: These dyes are tending to translucent, the more you use, the darker color will be. The transparency of the finished resin
depends on the amount you add. For example, if you only add 1 drop of epoxy pigment to 10ml of resin, the the finished product will be transparent.
Q: Are these metal complex dyes matte or do they have a shimmer to them?
A: They have no shimmer and they will show much color if you follow direction use. If you want to use shimmer powder, we also have mica powder with shimmer, glitter powder etc.
Q: Can these Liquid Epoxy resin Dye be used for candle making?
A: It's contains alcohol so not recommend, I recommend our mica powder to make candle.
Q: Has anyone tried dying cement with these resin colorant?
A: No but they do stain wood and other things, I believe they would be ok. On cement to, might have to use our iron oxide.
Q: Is the color of this epoxy resin pigment long lasting?
A: Your crafts' color effect will last long with our epoxy resin pigment and don't need to worry about fade problem anymore. You will get best color effect with both epoxy resin and UV resin.
Q: Can this resin pigment be used to create a new tumbler?
A: Yes, I don't see why not. Its the pigment that you mix into resin that colors it. The actual resin will be doing all the work,
not the coloring by itself.
Q: Will these resin pigment affect the normal curing of resin?
A: If you add resin pigment into epoxy resin, it will not affect the normal curing for your resin. If you add much and darker
resin pigment into uv resin, it will extend your resin cure time.
Q: Are these Liquid Epoxy Resin Dye flammable? I use a small torch to pop bubbles in my epoxy.
A: Hello, thank you very much for your question about our resin dyes.
Our resin dyes are not flammable, you can use a small torch to burn, but please be careful not to keep burning for a long time, because that will not be good for dyes and epoxy resin. The bubbles emerging from the resin can be left to stand for a few minutes and then disappear, or you can use a mixing bar to pick out the bubbles.
