Description
Overview of the shore power supply system
        When the ship is docked at the wharf, power is supplied to the ship's auxiliary system through the ship's power generation system to realize the normal power supply of the ship's auxiliary equipment during the ship's berthing. For international ships, the frequency of the ship's power supply equipment is generally 60Hz and the voltage level is generally 6.6KV or 460V, while for domestic ships, the frequency of the ship's power supply equipment is generally 50Hz and the voltage level is generally 6kV or 400V. To meet the requirements of national energy conservation and environmental protection, it is necessary to gradually stop the power supply of onboard diesel power generation systems and supply power to onboard auxiliary equipment through the onshore power supply. Considering that the frequency of the domestic power grid is 50Hz, it is impossible to directly supply power to the equipment on board. It is necessary to convert the 50Hz power supply onboard into the 60Hz power supply that can be used by the ship through the special shore power supply system onshore, and supply power to the ship through the junction box at the wharf apron, cable winch, etc.

Composition of shore power system
      The ashore power system can be divided into three parts: the shore power supply system, cable connection equipment, and ship power receiving system. Onshore power supply system: the onshore power supply system supplies power from the substation (substation) to the connection point close to the ship. Cable connection equipment: cables and equipment connecting shore connection points and shipboard power receiving devices. The cable connection equipment must meet the requirements of fast connection.

      Ship power receiving system: the power receiving system is fixedly installed on the ship, which may include a cable winch, onboard transformer, and relevant electrical management system.
