Features
Hot melt butyl sealant is a one part component.
It is carefully formulated with synthetic polymers and elastomers.
It is hot-applied in single seal insulating glass unit. No dual seal is required.
Moisture and gas vapour permeability is very low. Hot melt butyl is proved and well known in its extraordinary performance in blocking moisture and gas vapour which are fatal to IGU insulation properties.
Hot melt butyl is a fast cure sealant and is virtually tack-free within a minute after applied on IGU.
It also provides particular strong strengths in structural, adhesive and cohesive with high degree of structural rigidity and shear strength.
Hot melt butyl could be re-melt and reuse again, absolutely no waste.
It could be applied manually or automatic machines such as Xinology IG-HM-SS or IG-HM-DS hot melt extruders.
It is available in various sizes and is compatible to all extruding machines available in markets.
