Description
Hospital Rehabilitation Elbow Crutch Disabled Walking Stick
Walking stick is a simple device to assist walking, usually a wooden or metal stick. Generally used by the elderly and the disabled. There is a handle at the top, which acts as the "third leg" when walking and stabilizes the body. Some are three-claw or four-claw to enhance the anti-slip effect, and some also incorporate a small folding stool.

Crutches are an important medical rehabilitation aid, classified as walking sticks \ elbow sticks \ axillary sticks. Walking sticks are mainly used for mild needs, such as the elderly or climbers, and are not products for the disabled. The elbow cane is a product for moderately disabled people with lower limbs. Axillary crutches are a necessity for people with severe leg disabilities, and most people with leg disabilities have to use axillary sticks for whole life.

A walking stick with the right length makes walking more comfortable and safer, and also allows you to fully exercise your arms, shoulders, and back.

How to determine the correct length of walking stick:
Wear flat shoes and stand on the ground. After standing upright, your hands should hang down naturally. Take an upright posture. The elbows should be bent at 20 degrees. Then measure the distance from the skin stripes on the wrist to the ground. This size is the ideal length of your cane. You can also refer to this formula: cane length = 0, 72 x height. Such a length can better maintain body balance.
Tip: The height of the crutches used by the general elderly should not exceed their waist when they are raised.
