Product Description
The "Four Gentlemen" in Chinese culture, representing plum blossom, orchid, bamboo, and chrysanthemum, have a history of over a thousand years of cultivation. These flowers symbolize the virtues of a gentleman and have been used by literati to represent noble character. Therefore, the "Four Gentlemen" are the spiritual embodiment of the "Chinese gentleman" over the course of thousands of years.
Plum Blossom: Plum blossoms fearlessly bloom amidst ice and snow, defying harsh climates. When everything else lies dormant, plum blossoms courageously display delicate and beautiful flowers, symbolizing the spirit of integrity and courage in the face of adversity.
Orchid: Even in remote and uninhabited places, orchids emit the most exquisite fragrance, akin to a gentleman's unwavering self-cultivation regardless of time and location. They represent a magnanimous and wise spirit.
Bamboo: Bamboo possesses a graceful and swaying charm, seemingly carefree and elegant. Yet, it exhibits the resilience and determination to withstand challenges, perfectly combining humility and the qualities of a noble gentleman. It fascinates as a refined and courageous gentleman.
Chrysanthemum: Since the time of Tao Yuanming, chrysanthemums have been associated with recluses in China. Blooming amidst autumn's chill, they add beauty to desolate landscapes. They represent the independent and unconventional nature of hermits, unperturbed by power, peacefully cultivating beneath the southern mountains.

Main Production Process
Wax Refinement
The clay sculptures are prone to damage from weathering, so we aim to create molds to transform the clay prototypes into resin replicas. This allows for long-term preservation and a faithful representation of the essence of the original sculptures, as well as improvements to their shortcomings.
Dipping and Coating
"Dipping and coating" is the process of creating a ceramic shell mold. It involves assembling multiple wax patterns onto a tree assembly, repeatedly immersing them in a slurry (or stone slurry), embedding the outer layer, and allowing it to dry. This process results in the formation of a ceramic shell with a thickness of 9mm (5-7 layers). Subsequently, the tree assembly is placed in a high-temperature oven or a high-pressure steam pot at 140-160°C to dissolve the wax patterns, leaving behind a hollow ceramic shell.
Sandblasting
Sandblasting is a process that uses compressed air as a power source to generate a high-speed jet, which propels abrasive materials (such as copper ore sand, quartz sand, iron sand, sea sand, garnet sand, etc.) onto the surface of the workpiece to bring about surface changes. The impact and cutting action of the abrasive on the workpiece surface result in a certain level of cleanliness and different roughness on the outer surface of the workpiece. This process improves the mechanical properties of the workpiece surface, enhancing its resistance to fatigue, increasing adhesion between the workpiece and coatings, prolonging the durability of the coatings, and facilitating coating leveling and decoration.
Polishing
The surface of cast copper parts is relatively rough, so repeated polishing and refinement have become important steps to ensure
the quality of the copper parts. The polishing technicians have rich experience and work meticulously and carefully. Otherwise, a
slight mishap could result in the rejection of a piece of work.
