It is also widely used as a sweetener in the food industry and as a humectant in pharmaceutical formulations.

Product Application

1. Glycerin is an important organic chemical raw material. In the food industry, it can be used as water-retaining agent (for bread, cakes), carrier solvent (for spices, pigments, non-water-soluble preservatives), thickener (for beverages, prepared wine, etc.), plasticizer Agent (used in candies, desserts, meat products, etc.); can be used as a vehicle in colored foods. Glycerin is also used as a lubricant in food processing and packaging machinery. Commonly used as softeners, viscosity improvers and solvents in pharmaceutical and cosmetic manufacturing.
2. Used as a toughening agent for polyvinyl alcohol and starch adhesives, and also used in the manufacture of unsaturated polyester resin, alkyd resin, polyester, glycerol epoxy resin, etc. As an important organic chemical raw material, it is widely used in food, pharmaceutical, daily chemical and other industries, with more than 1,700 uses.
3. Glycerin is used in stainless steel polishing solutions, trivalent chromium plating solutions and chemical copper plating. In cyanide galvanizing, it can make the coating smooth and fine, improve the cathodic polarization and make the coating bright. Glycerol and triethanolamine can be used for bright nickel plating at room temperature when combined in a certain proportion.
