Ascorbyl Palmitate is esterified by natural ingredients such as palmitic acid and L-ascorbic acid, and its chemical formula is C22H38O7. It is a highly efficient oxygen scavenging agent and synergist, and has been assessed by the Food Additives Committee of the World Health Organization (WHO) as a food additive with nutritional, non-toxic, efficient and safe use. It is the only antioxidant that can be used in infant food in China. It can play a role in antioxidant, food (oil) color protection, nutrition strengthening and other effects when used in food.
