The most typical application for laminar flow transfer vehicle is the protection of sterile materials in storage after sterilisation in autoclaves. Aseptic product filling lines are equipped with laminar flow transfer vehicles. Mobile Laminar Flow Transfer Vehicles transport sterile materials through a Class B or Class D environment, always keeping Class A products inside the Laminar Flow Transfer Vehicle. The Restricted Access Barrier System (RABS) is used to protect operators from external contamination while handling sterile components.
Working Principle
Air is extracted from the surrounding area and blown into the HEPA filter via axial or centrifugal fans. All fans are variable frequency fans that can be adjusted to produce a full laminar flow model. Each HEPA filter box is connected directly to the air handling unit; mounted on top of the laminar flow transfer cart for easy removal and replacement.
Features and functions:
1. Built-in power supply: Equipped with a built-in power supply to provide the required power supply without the need for external power access.
2. Local Class A Environment: Provides a local Class A clean environment, which is a highly clean environmental standard usually used in pharmaceutical and bioengineering fields to ensure product quality and safety.
3. Flexible Mobility: Unlike fixed laminar flow hoods, transit laminar flow trolleys are flexible and can be used mobilely in the workshop, adapting to different workplaces and task requirements. This mobility makes it particularly suitable for applications that require frequent movement or change of working position.
4. Vertical airflow: The airflow in a transit laminar flow vehicle is usually vertical, i.e. from the top downwards. This design helps in settling the particulate matter in the air to the ground level, thereby reducing the contamination of the work area.
5. High-efficiency filtration fan unit: The Transfer Laminar Flow Vehicle is equipped with a high-efficiency filter and fan unit to filter the air inside to remove particles, microorganisms, and other contaminants to ensure a clean internal environment.
6. Positive Pressure Design: Positive pressure is usually maintained inside the Transfer Laminar Vehicle, which means that the pressure of the air inside is higher than that of the outside environment, preventing outside air from entering the interior. This helps to maintain the cleanliness of the interior environment.
