Product Description

Heavy Duty Bracing Strapping Tensioner

The Wall Brace Tensioner is an easy to use wall strap-brace tensioner that takes the slack out of strap bracing, saving time over other methods.

With the ability to pull as much as 20mm of slack out of a single strap, It resists tension loads only and should be used in pairs (one for each strap when in X brace configuration).

This unique tensioner tensions in just 3 seconds with either a hex or Phillips bit!

* Tensions your bracing in 3 seconds
* Bolt now with Phillips & Hex drive - saving time by changing bits!
* Anti-slip notch to prevent slipping or spinning
* Bolt shaped to prevent tearing in bracing galvanized coating

Material: Carbon Steel 2.0mm, 2.5mm, 3.0mm thick
Finish: Z275 Galvanised

 Installation

 * Place WBT near the center of the diagonal wall brace

 * Install bolt-through strap and WBT with nut facing towards the wall cavity

 * Tightening the nut requires a 10mm hex head-deep socket setter. Tighten until the slack is taken out of the strap

 Application

Strap Brace Tensioners are used to pre-tension structural bracing strap after it has been installed on wall panels or roof trusses according to AS1684.

Strap Brace Tensioners Tensioners are used to pre-tension hoop iron strapping after it has been installed to brace wall panels or roof trusses according to AS1684. The two-piece bracket makes installation quick and easy.

  • A strap Brace is ideal for bracing applications where timber braces are not feasible because of their thickness or because timber can't be bent (eg. exposed beams, rafters, or trusses)
  • It saves on-site labor time as studs do not have to be notched - the unnotched studs can often be a smaller size and hence cheaper than notched studs.
  • Available in long-length coils for ease of handling and minimum wastage
  • Easily and quickly tensioned using the Strap Brace Tensioner - simply by driving the hex-head screw (nutsert option) or turning the wing nut (wingnut and t-bolt option)
  • The Strap Brace Tensioners are designed with a deeper saddle for improved tensioning capabilities, and a smoother edge finish for better manual handling

Convenient multi-purpose bracing for roofs, ceilings, and walls.
Brace with Tensioner is an easy-to-use, flat-strap steel bracing for roofs, walls, ceilings, and floors. The strap brace complies with the wall bracing rules of AS1684 Residential Timber-framed Construction.

We also produce the punched bracing strapping.  Metal strapping with holes" is a type of metal strapping that features evenly spaced holes along its length. These holes are designed to provide flexibility and allow the strap to be easily fastened to objects using screws, nails, or other hardware.

The holes also allow for better ventilation and drainage, making it ideal for use in applications where moisture or airflow are a concern.

Metal strapping with holes is commonly used in the construction industry for securing ductwork, pipes, and other equipment in place, as well as for bundling and securing materials during transportation.
