Product Description
Sodium thiosulfate, chemical formula Na2S2O3, is a colorless crystalline solid with certain solubility and stability. It is an important reducing agent and has a wide range of applications in chemical experiments and industrial production. The solution of sodium thiosulfate is alkaline with a pH of about 8-9, so it can be used to neutralize acidic solutions. It can react with oxidizing agents in redox reactions, such as with acidic potassium permanganate solution to produce manganese dioxide.
