Description:These aluminium channels not only act as a heat sink which reduces the light decay dramatically from the LEDs over their lifetime, but they also improve the visual finish of linear lighting installations by reducing spotting and manipulating the light output to suit an application.
By using the associated opal diffuser it is possible to soften the light output and reduce any glare. As the aluminium sits quite deep it should help to eliminate the spotting effect between the LEDs.
The channel is available off the shelf in lengths of 2 and 3 metres or in custom bespoke lengths, mitred and at an angle. resistance. It also has the advantages of self-extinguishing, flame retardant, non toxic and colorable.
Its strength and toughness are very good.
