Description
D-tartaric acid, also known as D-tartaric acid; Dextro-2,3-dihydroxysuccinic acid. Colorless translucent crystal or white fine to coarse crystal powder with sour taste. Density 1.76g/cm3, melting point 168~170 ºC, flash point 210 ºC, boiling point 399 ºC. It can be stored at room temperature with water solubility of 1390g/L (20 ºC). It is mainly used in the production of plastics, coatings, rubber, adhesives and paper.
