History

In the past nine years (data checked in 2020), Bestgo focused on the lithium ion batteries used in electric vehicles, marine, industries, solar panel and energy storage applications, we have built hundreds projects for customers from worldwide. We keep a closing watching on battery materials developments, adopting the most "up-to-date" technologies, well manage the materials supply chain to offer the best quality products with good cost, and offer the fast response and high professional service to customer.

When LiFePO4 emerged as new alternatives materials for Lithium ion batteries in 2001, China national research institute began to take researches on those materials for lithium ion battery improvement. After a period of time, Chinese government began to offer support to new energy industry, research institutes also make joint researches with battery enterprises like BYD, BAK etc. The predecessor of Bestgo Battery is a core technical team from China national research institute, which have over 16 years' experience on li-ion batteries, 12 years joint research experience on LiFePO4 batteries (data checked in 2020). After years of independent researches on battery materials, the break though technologies have been developed then Bestgo Battery have been founded, company resisted in Hongkong and run factory in Changzhou city, southeast of China, total covers 20,000 square meters and about 200 workers. Bestgo batteries are featured as high power density and ultra-safe performance, due to the updated materials, manufacturing method and safety design.




 

Updated LiFePO4 materials


The original LiFePO4 materials have low electronic conductivity and consistency, how to improve the electronic conductivity became the core competitiveness of LiFePO4 batteries. Bestgo made fully considerations on those, the LiFePO4 materials used for our cells have been processed by metal-doping and carbon-coating way, they have premium electronic conductivity and safety assurance. With up-to-date technologies, our cells have adopted ceramic separators for a better safety reliability, have adopted silicon-carbon mixed anode to improve the cycle life. For our power type cells here are even carton nanotube inside to improve the electricity conductivities, so our batteries can offer a premium performance when discharged with high C-rating and still keep lower heat generating.


 

Advanced manufacturing technology


Not like traditional organic solvents manufacturing method, Bestgo have cells been made under the nano-level pure water dissolving manufacturing way, which makes benefits for a higher level of quality control, processing optimization and labor saving. This manufacturing method requires much more capital invests in production lines for the fully automatic machines and high precision control equipments. They are acting much better for the key manufacturing steps with full zone monitoring and realtime feedback.  Bestgo have cells been made in those manufacturing process, which can greatly enhance the consistency of cell performance, quality reliability for the longterm use, obtain a quite good production yield ratio and reach environmental friendly, to produce the most advanced vehicle level lithium ion batteries.
 

LiFePO4 battery is the safest battery available for lithium ion batteries. However, to enhance this safety, Bestgo makes many efforts in this area. We adopted the ceramic separators among anode and cathode in cells, used premium electrolyte for a better performance and safety level, used silicon-carbon mixed anode for a better charging capability for some power type cells. We designed the patent modules and softlink busbars to resist high vibration conditions, applied the thermal conductive designs in package structure, use totally sealed metal case for priority, which makes our batteries have high safety reliability when meet very hard conditions.

After Sales Service

After-sale Service
 
For both warranty and after-sale service, the following will be enforced:
Warranty year(s) for this model of battery pack are specifified by supplier. During the warranty period, we will take
responsibility for the replacement or repair for any of the following issues:
• The whole battery pack cannot be charged or discharged.
• Under the standard testing condition, the capacity is less than 80% in the end of the fifirst year, or 70% in the
   end of last warranty year (if the last warranty year is provided in the warranty period).
• There is liquid leakage.
• There is some damage on battery pack's case and accessories that are caused by the battery.
• The charger is not working properly.
 
However, we will not take responsibility in the following situations:
• Expired warranty period.
• Battery damage as a result of improper handling.
• The battery pack is dismantled and converted.
• There is visible damage to the BMS that was not caused by battery failure.
• Damage caused by using an incorrect charger for the pack.

With years of experiences in design and manufacturing of li-ion batteries for different applications, we have built many different projects for customers.
 

 ODM Projects Electric Vehicles

We deliver advanced Li-ion battery packs with well designed module structure and reliable BMS, customer can also equip their preferred BMS in local market so can have fast response services. Our battery packs are widely used in low speed electric vehicles, light traction vehicles, if customer have good advanced BMS, we can offer high quality battery modules to support build in series up to 750V battery system running in high speed vehicles. Our engineers have rich experience in design of battery systems for vehicle application, our unique technology can make sure cells have high level standards in battery packs, for example we can make sure cell voltage in the same battery packs have cell voltage difference no more than 20mv at 50%SOC.

The Li-NCM 37Ah cells and 48Ah cells we make are manufactured based on vehicle standards. in the year of 2019 here are over than 2,000 vehicles running on road which equipped 355V185Ah battery packs made by 37Ah cells. In the early years here are over than 10,000 vehicles running on road which equipped the battery packs made by 32Ah cells (In the late of 2018 we updated 32Ah cell type to 37Ah cell type).

The LiFePO4 30Ah cell has very high energy density (163Wh/kg), long cycle life, and LiFePO4 chemistry has the best safety among li-ion cells. They are very popular in applications which needs high safety assurance and longer cycle life. Those 30Ah cells share the exactly same module structure to Li-NCM 37Ah cells, so they can be made to standard aluminum case battery modules, those modules have well designed thermal management, shock-absorbing and weight-reduction. They can be managed by advanced BMS (Battery Management System) for the monitoring and controlling, to make the reliable battery systems.

We have ultra light weight battery modules with low profile shape, that can be used to build battery packs as "skate shape" in chassis of electric vehicles. This type of module has height of 102mm, width of 370mm and length extensible, which has cassette sheet structure module and use ultra light weight 48Ah pouch cells. ODM Projects Electric boats

Bestgo make nice battery packs for marine application. We developed some kinds of heavy duty cells that are optimized for big constant discharge current and heat generation is less than usual. Battery packs made with those cells are able to offer the stable performance when driving electric boats, helped boats to obtain the high speed, fast response, silence noise and total zero emission. The driver can enjoy the nice experience in peace and totally nature feeling surrounded. The battery packs use IP67 level metal case for the seal, the metal can help heat passing quickly, and the metal case has a high reliability in the safety tests when applied with extremely force damages.

We can offer complete battery packs with PCB BMS built in and digital meter on metal case for information outputs. Like voltage, current, Ampere hour left, SOC status etc. Battery packs are easy to be carried with handles built on, here are power cables come out for charging and discharging.

Bestgo can make battery system which include several battery packs and an outside BMS. Battery packs can be built in series to increase the voltage, BMS can well monitor the whole battery system and act in real time by contractors for cut off in charging and discharging process.

Bestgo can offer standard battery modules and soft link busbars, customer can install the battery packs by their own and connect to their own BMS purchased.

Bestgo can make standard 12.8V LiFePO4 battery packs with metal case and BMS built in, support charge and discharge current that no more than 200A and capacity no more than 560Ah.

Battery pack can be customized as below,
Voltage range is from 12V to 600V, Capacity range is from 30Ah to 1200Ah, dimension of battery packs can be changed accordingly, continuous and peak current will be adjusted to best suit to the project/application. We accept customized orders from industry customers, to build the battery packs with specified parameters and requirements. We can make finished battery pack along with BMS, or make pre assembled battery packs and customer install the BMS sourced by their own. We only only have standard battery packs like preferred battery packs, but also can offer different kinds of customized battery packs, battery modules and li-ion cells. The modules can easily assembled to all kinds of battery packs as customer designed to. We have over than 9 years experience (checked in 2009), we are act fast in response for sample design, deliver sample packs in 4~6 weeks and finish quantity volume orders in 4~6 weeks if need to.

We developed standard battery packs for energy storage application, Preferred battery packs for energy storage application, the volt of 12V, 24V, 48V, capacity from 100Ah to 400Ah, packs can be put in parallel config to increase total capacity, or can put in series config to increase total voltage of the whole system. Those standard battery packs should be installed with BMS that offer by customer or by us, and whole system is well managed by the BMS system. Our engineers have rich experience in design of battery system, our unique technology can make sure cells have high level standards in battery packs, the voltage difference is quite low and consistency can be quite well after years of usage.

Overview

Bestgo Battery is dedicated to providing advanced lithium ion batteries which feature both high power and energy densities with a long lifespans and ultra-safe performance. The cells are made using some unique manufacturing technologies developed over the years. These completely automated unique battery construction processes allow Bestgo to build the high reliable quality lithium batteries with nice cost achieved in mass production.

 

Manufacturing the best li-ion batteries

To ensure our battery quality, we start by purchasing high quality raw materials and then assemble these materials on the production lines using automated equipments, along with the latest in manufacturing processes and a high degree of precision quality control. For instance, the LiFePO4 materials for battery are supplied by quality suppliers which have authorization of Phostech in Canada, Other materials like separators are imported from qualified suppliers in Japan and famous companies of China. We then use laser equipments to detect the thickness in the coating process. These laser equipments communicate with the coating machines in a feedback system to maintain tight tolerances and make sure that no cells are produced outside preset limits. We deployed the PDMS (Product Data Management System) for quality control, every step in the manufacturing process is checked, logged and judged, so that if a problem occurs it will be discovered early and any faulty product would be discarded. This automated attention to every step of the manufacturing process results in higher yields and ultimately lower production costs.

 
 

Selecting cells by the judge of database

Every cell produced at Bestgo's factory is individually electrically tested on automated testing equipment and the test results logged into Data Management System. The results are that we can then offer well matched cells for battery packs. When we need to choose the best candidate cells for battery packs, we use this Data Management System to calculate the cell's electric properties for the best selection. The testing parameters include the internal resistance, capacity, self-discharge rate, voltage and charge / discharge curves etc. These are the reasons why our battery packs have a superior quality over other competitors.

 
 

Build complete battery pack for customer

We offer battery packs with Battery Management System (BMS) integrated if customers order these packs with protective regulated circuitry. The active balancing function of BMS will transfer energy from the higher cells to lower cells in the pack when the battery pack is being charged or discharged. This balancing and control function assures the user that all cells will have almost the same voltage, capacity and have less chance of being damaged due to overcharging or over discharging.
