In fact,the liquid is in compressible and therefore can not store pressure energy.In the liquid gas accumulator, the pressure energy can be stored by using the compressibility of gas. The diaphragm accumulator uses nitrogen as the compressible medium based on this principle. The diaphragm accumulator is divided into liquid part and gas part by a diaphragm which separates the gas. The liquid part is connected with the hydraulic circuit. When the force increases, the gas compresses and fills the diaphragm accumulator. When the pressure decreases, the pressure gas expands and sends the stored liquid back to the hydraulic circuit. The bottom of the diaphragm is a pre hardened valve seat. When all the liquid in the accumulator is discharges, it will cut off the liquid outlet to prevent the diaphragm from being damaged.
