Product introduction:
The grounding wire of the cable branch box is easy to install and flexible in incoming and outgoing lines. Generally, there are 6 to 8 branch incoming and outgoing lines in use, which can realize multiple power transmission in the community, providing technical guarantee for deepening the load center, shortening the power supply radius and reducing the line loss. At the same time, the cable branch box can be equipped with power indicator, fault indicator, silicone rubber fully insulated plug-in lightning arrester, mechanical programmable lock, grounding switch, etc. to ensure the safety of operation, maintenance and management. Cooperating with cable looped power supply, SF6 and other looped load switches can be configured to meet local outage maintenance requirements, realize regional outage maintenance and reduce outage scope without affecting the operation of the main network. At the same time, the loop-network cable branch box can realize the loop-network power supply, laying a foundation for the future adjustment of the 10 kV line network structure.
There are many kinds of 10 kV outdoor cable branch boxes, so the installation and construction of 10 kV cable branch box becomes important. Whether the operation method of the installation and connection process of the cable branch box and cable connector is correct, whether the installation process of the cable head is familiar, the sequence of the assembly of the internal components of the cable branch box and the cable connector components, and whether the operation is carried out according to the installation specifications provided by the manufacturer will directly affect the service life and normal operation of the cable branch box.
The grounding wire of high-voltage portable cable branch box shall be selected with appropriate nut models, which can be divided into 12 #, 13 #, 14 #, 15 # and 16 # models and three standard ring main cabinet contact pins. Generally, 12 #, 14 # and 16 # models are mostly used.

Before the operation of the grounding wire of the cable branch box, check whether the grounding wire of each branch cable is firmly connected with the grounding terminal of the box. At the same time, the box shell must be directly connected to the grounding grid or have an obvious grounding point. After the installation of the grounding wire of the cable branch box, the components of the cable must be tested together in accordance with the relevant test standards and conditions.
Product parameters: 1 insulating rod (or 3) with a length of 0.5 m, 1 copper wire with a length of 3 * 1+3 m, 25 square meters, 3 detachable copper connectors, 15 copper connectors (3 for each of 10, 12, 14, 16 and 18 mm), 3 copper pins (12 mm in diameter and 185 mm in length), and 1 aluminum grounding wire clamp. The grounding rod (wire) of the cable branch box is made of multi-strand high-quality flexible copper wire, and is covered with a soft, high-temperature resistant transparent insulating sheath.


Note: This specification is recommended. If it does not meet customer requirements, it can be customized according to customer requirements. The following parameters are required for customized grounding wire:
1. Operating voltage;
2. The length of the grounding rod and the style of the grounding terminal;
3. Sectional area, length and connection mode of copper wire (split phase or closed phase);
4. Grounding terminal style (spiral clamp or ground stud).

Portable short circuit grounding wire can be divided into split phase grounding wire and closed phase grounding wire. There are single-section and multi-section operating rods with different voltages. Short-circuit grounding wires are used for power transformation and transmission lines.

Structural characteristics of grounding wire of branch box:
1. The insulating rod is a detachable quick-release structure, which makes the operating rod and the operating head can be separated without affecting the work, and solves the contradiction between the insulating rod being too long and the space of the junction box being too small when conducting the grounding work again.
2. The grounding of the grounding wire of the branch box should be checked before the grounding operation to better ensure the safety of the operators.
3. This product has reasonable structure, tight connection, excellent safety performance, simple operation, and can also be disassembled and carried, saving a lot of manpower and material resources and space.
4. The short circuit wire and grounding wire are made of multi-strand high-quality soft copper wire, and are covered with a soft, high-temperature resistant transparent insulating sheath, which can prevent the wear of the grounding copper wire in use and ensure the safety of operators in operation
5. The connection nose, bus clamp, grounding copper wire and outer sheath adopt a new process of crimping. The soft connection can effectively prevent the broken strand of copper wire at the connection during use, and improve the reliability and service life of the grounding wire.
6. The grounding operating rod is made of advanced epoxy resin and glass fiber with excellent insulation performance and mechanical strength. At the same time, the operating handle is equipped with silicone rubber sheath, which is firmly bonded, and the insulation is more safe and reliable.

The power frequency withstand voltage test of the operating rod, the 10KV, 35KV, 63KV, 110KV and 220KV grounding rod shall pass the withstand voltage test at 45KV, 95KV, 175KV, 220KV and 440KV respectively, and keep it without breakdown for one minute. The 330KV and 500KV grounding rods shall be applied with withstand voltage at 380KV and 580KV respectively. Keep it for five minutes without breakdown.
Grounding wire standard: our company's flexible copper wire is made according to national standards. The resistance to ground is as follows: measure the DC resistance between the lugs. For various sections of 25mm2, 35mm2, 50mm2, 70mm2, 95mm2,120mm2, the average resistance value per meter should be less than 0.79m Ω, 0.56m Ω, 0.40m Ω, 0.28m Ω, 0.21m Ω, 0.16m Ω respectively. Selection of short-circuit grounding wire:
The selection of portable short circuit grounding wire shall be able to withstand the large short circuit current of the suspension point, and its rated short circuit current value shall not be less than the large fault current of the suspension point. When the reclosing is not released, the impact of the secondary short-circuit current impact on the rated short-circuit current value of the short-circuit grounding wire should also be considered.
The length of the short circuit grounding wire shall be suitable for the size of the equipment and the distance from the fixed grounding point. The product value of the rated short circuit current square and the rated time shall not be less than the product value of the fault current square and the fault time. If the length of the grounding wire is less than 1.2 times the distance from the connection point, it may cause more serious stress than that in the type test. If it is too long, the residual voltage at the working point will be too high and the grounding wire will swing strongly during short circuit.

Maintenance and storage of grounding rod (wire) of cable branch box:
Before each use, carefully check whether the grounding wire is in good condition. The flexible plastic copper wire shall be free from exposure, broken ends and loose nuts. Otherwise, it shall not be used. The product shall be kept clean and tidy, and shall not be thrown everywhere. Attention shall be paid to the cleaning and hygiene work to prevent sediment and dirt from entering the pores of the product, thus affecting the normal use of the grounding wire. The grounding wire subjected to short circuit current shall be judged according to the size and appearance of the short circuit current, and shall generally be scrapped.
Before using portable short circuit grounding wire, check the power supply to confirm that the power has been cut off, and then confirm that there is no voltage on the equipment. First connect the grounding wire clamp to the grounding grid or flat iron piece, and then use the grounding rod to screw the wire end on the equipment wire. When removing the short circuit grounding wire, the sequence is exactly the reverse of the above.
Portable short circuit grounding wire shall be properly kept. Before each use, carefully check whether it is in good condition, the soft copper wire is not exposed, and the nut is not loose, otherwise it cannot be used.
The inspection cycle of portable short circuit grounding wire is once every five years, and the inspection items are the same as the factory inspection. After passing the test, the portable short circuit grounding wire shall be judged according to the size of the short circuit current and the appearance inspection, and shall generally be scrapped.
