Product introduction:
The grounding wire of the cable branch box is easy to install and flexible in incoming and outgoing lines. Generally, there are 6 to 8 branch incoming and outgoing lines in use, which can realize multiple power transmission in the community, providing technical guarantee for deepening the load center, shortening the power supply radius and reducing the line loss. At the same time, the loop-network cable branch box can realize the loop-network power supply, laying a foundation for the future adjustment of the 10 kV line network structure.
There are many kinds of 10 kV outdoor cable branch boxes, so the installation and construction of 10 kV cable branch box becomes important. Before the operation of the grounding wire of the cable branch box, check whether the grounding wire of each branch cable is firmly connected with the grounding terminal of the box. At the same time, the box shell must be directly connected to the grounding grid or have an obvious grounding point. After the installation of the grounding wire of the cable branch box, the components of the cable must be tested together in accordance with the relevant test standards and conditions.

The grounding rod (wire) of the cable branch box is made of multi-strand high-quality flexible copper wire, and is covered with a soft, high-temperature resistant transparent insulating sheath.

1. Operating voltage;
2. The length of the grounding rod and the style of the grounding terminal;
3. Sectional area, length and connection mode of copper wire (split phase or closed phase);

Portable short circuit grounding wire can be divided into split phase grounding wire and closed phase grounding wire. There are single-section and multi-section operating rods with different voltages. Short-circuit grounding wires are used for power transformation and transmission lines.

Structural characteristics of grounding wire of branch box:
1. The 330KV and 500KV grounding rods shall be applied with withstand voltage at 380KV and 580KV respectively. Keep it for five minutes without breakdown.

The selection of portable short circuit grounding wire shall be able to withstand the large short circuit current of the suspension point, and its rated short circuit current value shall not be less than the large fault current of the suspension point. The length of the short circuit grounding wire shall be suitable for the size of the equipment and the distance from the fixed grounding point. The product value of the rated short circuit current square and the rated time shall not be less than the product value of the fault current square and the fault time. If the length of the grounding wire is less than 1.2 times the distance from the connection point, it may cause more serious stress than that in the type test. If it is too long, the residual voltage at the working point will be too high and the grounding wire will swing strongly during short circuit.

Maintenance and storage of grounding rod (wire) of cable branch box:
Before each use, carefully check whether the grounding wire is in good condition. The flexible plastic copper wire shall be free from exposure, broken ends and loose nuts. Otherwise, it shall not be used. The product shall be kept clean and tidy, and shall not be thrown everywhere. Attention shall be paid to the cleaning and hygiene work to prevent sediment and dirt from entering the pores of the product, thus affecting the normal use of the grounding wire. The grounding wire subjected to short circuit current shall be judged according to the size and appearance of the short circuit current, and shall generally be scrapped.
Before using portable short circuit grounding wire, check the power supply to confirm that the power has been cut off, and then confirm that there is no voltage on the equipment. First connect the grounding wire clamp to the grounding grid or flat iron piece, and then use the grounding rod to screw the wire end on the equipment wire. When removing the short circuit grounding wire, the sequence is exactly the reverse of the above.
Portable short circuit grounding wire shall be properly kept. Before each use, carefully check whether it is in good condition, the soft copper wire is not exposed, and the nut is not loose, otherwise it cannot be used.
The inspection cycle of portable short circuit grounding wire is once every five years, and the inspection items are the same as the factory inspection. After passing the test, the portable short circuit grounding wire shall be judged according to the size of the short circuit current and the appearance inspection, and shall generally be scrapped.
