The DDZ type drill pipe elevator is a wellhead tool in the drilling and repairing of oil or gas well. It is easy and safe for handling 18-dregrees drill pipe, and of great advantage to prolong life of self-seal head of blowout preventer. It is designed according to API Spec 8C and GB/T 19190.
The DDZ type drill pipe elevator is made up of body-left and right, latch, latch lock, hinge pin and springs. The ears of body-left and right can be hung by Links. The body left and right are latched together by the latch. The body-left and right can be sure not opened by the latch lock when handle drill pipe.
