Indications:
This product is mainly used to treat mild and moderate infections caused by penicillinase-producing and methicillin-sensitive staphylococcus, such as bone, respiratory tract, skin and soft tissue infections.
Adverse reactions:
1. Allergic reaction urticaria and other kinds of skin rashes are more common. In a few patients, leukopenia, interstitial nephritis, asthma attack and serum disease type reaction (type III allergy) can occur. Individual patients may have anaphylactic shock. Once anaphylactic shock occurs, they must be rescued on the spot, keep the airway unblocked, inhale oxygen, and give epinephrine, glucocorticoid and other treatment measures.
2. A few patients may have abdominal distension, anorexia, and even nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, diarrhea and other symptoms.
3. Some patients may have leukopenia and neutropenia or cholestasis jaundice.
4. Double infection caused by Candida or Gram-negative bacilli is occasionally seen.
Taboo:
It is forbidden for patients with a history of allergy to penicillin drugs or patients with positive penicillin skin test.
Pharmacology and toxicology:
This product is a semi-synthetic penicillin with the characteristics of acid-resistance and penicillinase resistance. It has antibacterial activity against Gram-positive cocci and Neisseria. It has stronger antibacterial activity against Staphylococcus (including Staphylococcus aureus and coagulase-negative Staphylococcus) enzyme-producing strains than oxacillin, but its antibacterial activity against penicillin-sensitive Staphylococcus and various streptococci is weaker than that of penicillin, and has no effect on methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus.
