Introduction:
We are a leading flexible flat sheet membrane manufacturer mainly specialized in flat-sheet membrane rolls with PVDF material, which are suitable for MBR and immersion ultrafiltration. PVDF's non-viscosity (low surface energy) gives it better pollution resistance. We adopt permanent hydrophilic modification, which can optimize the pollution resistance and flux. CPVC molecule has a lot of negative covalent bond chlorine in it, which makes the surface of the material more negatively charged, while most of the impurities in the wastewater are electronegative, so the fouling resistance property is also very good.
Our LR Series flexible flat sheet membrane module not only retains the advantages of conventional flat membrane like high strength, easy maintenance, no backwash, high flux and low transmembrane pressure difference, but also include the advantages of hollow fiber membrane like high filling density, small footprint and lower gas-water ratio. At the same time, our products have the advantages of extreme low replacement cost of single membrane, high welding strength and backwash available. Our MBR membrane wastewater treatment system can replace traditional biological wastewater treatment technology on a large scale and wide application ranges.
Membranes Stack/Cassette Unit:
LR flexible flat sheet membrane stack/cassette consists of rectangle membrane, sealing ring, spacing strip, central water collecting pipe and two ends baffles. Membranes and sealing rings are putted on the center pipe one by one and then pressed and sealed by the baffles on both sides. After filtered by the membranes the wastewater first enters the support passage and then collected to the central water collecting pipe for export with the activated sludge keeping out of the diaphragm. The pore size of these membranes is 0.03-0.1μm while the material is most commonly used PVDF.

Flat Sheet Membranes MBR Module:
The basic structure of LR flat sheet membrane assembly module mainly contains three parts as shown in the following figure: aeration part, membrane box part and water collecting pipe part.

Notes: The filtration capacity of membranes module is obtained according to the membrane area multiply by flux. It's suggested that the flux of municipal sewage seen as 400L/dayxsquare meter, please calibrate the flux for industrial sewage. The water yield in the table is calculated according to the effective working time of 20h per day while the operating mode is running for 8 minutes and stopping for 2 minutes, or running for 9 minutes and stopping for 1 minute.
Typical Discharging Effluent Quality:
• TSS < 2mg/L
• Turbidity < 0.1NTU(Ultrafiltration), 1NTU(MBR)
• COD decline, COD would be controlled under 50mg/L while the biochemical system is well treated
• NH4-N decline, NH4-N would be controlled under 1mg/L while the biochemical system is well treated
Pipeline Connection Diagram for LR MBR System:
As shown in the figure, the membranes module is connected to three main pipelines: output water pipeline, backwash pipeline and aeration pipeline. The water collecting port is connected with the water output pipeline and the backwash pipeline through a three-way connection. The backwash pipeline is connected to the high-level cleaning water tank which can backwash the membranes with cleaning water or solution. The water tank is 0.5-1 meters higher than the membrane assembly module, so the solution in the tank can be injected into the diaphragm by gravity or backwash pump. The aeration pipeline is connected to the air inlet of the membranes module while the other end of the membrane module is a vent with a vent valve which mainly play the role of flushing the aerator.

Nantong 450 tons/day Printing and Dyeing Wastewater Treatment Plant
They used to adopt 100-meter deep well delay aeration in aerobic part, and the effluent COD of the second sedimentation tank is about 500. In order to meet the new local environmental protection standard, the COD needs to be below 300. The customer installed 7 sets of products LR8-3-6 (each set has an area of 225 square meters) in the degassation tank. After commissioning, the effluent COD is less than 300, the effluent turbidity is less than 1, the operating pressure drop is 0.5 meters, and the apparent operating flux is about 13-14LMH.
After the subsequent pretreatment and biochemical improvement, COD value continues to drop significantly. Due to the good use effect, the customer subsequently ordered 14 sets of products. As shown in the picture, since it is a renovation project, they directly hang the membrane modules in the degassing tank, which is particularly convenient for the renovation of the old tank.
HISUN Pharmaceutical 300 tons/day Wastewater Treatment
The original effluent COD is around 100, and they need to reduce COD and turbidity to reuse the wastewater for greening water. This client used contact oxidation method before, now they use MBR membrane method to change the secondary sedimentation tank into membrane tank, and purchased 1050 square meters (4 sets of LR8-3-7) flat membrane module, and the outlet effluent COD changes to around 50 and well meet the customer water requirements.
Jinhua Textile 3500 tons/day Dyeing Wastewater Treatment First-stage Project
We provide full life-cycle services from MBR flexible flat sheet membrane products, system solutions, drawing planning to operations guidance. The membrane pools running stability, effluent COD is controlled around 80, apparent flux 14 LMH. The client praise that our LR flat sheet membrane has longer chemical backwashing cycle, and is more easy to maintain. High pollution resistance, high sludge concentration, recovery washing applicable, suitable for all kinds of high concentration of industrial sewage.
Shenzhen Guanlan Foxconn 5000 tons/day Domestic Wastewater Treatment Upgrade
This project replaced the original imported-brand hard board membrane, our MBR system has a high degree of automation, adopting automatic small wash, one key start chemical backwash, aeration signal interlock and so on. The project was operated in the middle of 2019, with the effluent reaching grade A or above and the flux exceeding 20LMH. We participated in the design of backwash logic scheme to ensure long-term low negative pressure water production. At present, the system has been running for more than a year without offline soaking. The long term stable operation of the system proves that the quality of flexible flat sheet membrane is reliable in the field of medium and large water volume, and the backwashing scheme of small washing combined with chemical backwashing is effective.
Zhejiang 40000 tons/day Municipal Wastewater Treatment Upgrade
This project transform secondary sedimentation tank into MBR membrane pool. Our flexible flat sheet membrane is placed in the second sedimentation tank to increase the aerobic residence time and ensure the effluent suspended matter. The outlet weir of the second sedimentation tank is transformed into membrane tank water inlet channel, and the mud scraper walkway is transformed into a pipe gallery, which has a very high degree of agreement with the MBR process. The transformation scheme provides experience and reference for the upgrading of urban sewage treatment plant. After the first phase of this project ran for more than three months, when we cooperated with the civil construction to put the water down, the flexible flat sheet membranes are still white as snow and as smooth as skin, the client gladly praise our products.
Coal Gasification Wastewater Treatment LR Flexible Membrane Replacing Hollow Fiber Mebrane
In coal gasification wastewater treatment, after the curtain membrane operation, the membrane filament wrapped each other, sludge stuck to the membrane surface, resulting in a decrease in water production. After the operation of the flexible flat membrane, the diaphragms are still divided into clear channels and smooth, and the water yield maintains the design flux. LR flexible flat sheet membranes exhibit excellent pollution resistance at lower air volumes and lower cleaning frequencies. Help the client save aeration, save space and save investment.
