Achromatic Lens Achromatic double gluing lens is an achromatic lens formed by bonding a low dispersion positive lens of corona glass with a high dispersion negative lens of flint glass. In the design, the different values of dispersion and the lens shape were optimized for blue (486.1nm), green (546.1nm) and red (656.3nm) wavelengths to achieve the minimum chromatic aberration. Therefore, such a lens can be used throughout the visible region. The spherical aberration is also optimized in the design. Compared with a single lens, the spherical aberration of achromatic double gluing lens is much smaller. The spherical aberration is the smallest when applied to the infinitely conjugate state. Achromatic double gluing lenses are coated with wide-band anti-reflection multilayer film in visible light (400-700 nm).
