The weldless ring is forged from a single piece of high strength alloy steel for maximum tensile strength. Add weight and expand the diameter in key areas so that the ring is stronger. The short eye design allows for better balance and easy operation of the lift, reducing the wear between the eye and the rotating ring. Products are designed and manufactured in accordance with API Spec 8A/8C Drilling and Production Lifting Equipment.
