Properties of freezer oil
: Refrigerant oil is used to lubricate the friction pairs of refrigeration compressor, which is the key to the long-term high-speed and effective operation of compressor. At work, a part of the refrigerant oil through the cylinder of the refrigeration compressor with the refrigerant into the condenser, expansion valve and evaporator, which requires that the refrigerant oil not only has the characteristics of general lubricants, but also should adapt to the special requirements of the refrigeration system, should not have adverse effects on the refrigeration system. Table 5-9 lists the performance requirements of refrigerant oil for each component of the refrigeration system. As can be seen from the table, in order to ensure the normal operation of the refrigeration system, the refrigerant oil must have excellent chemical stability, excellent missolubility with the refrigerant, good lubricity, excellent low temperature fluidity, no wax flocculation separation, no water, no mechanical impurities and excellent insulation performance. Visible, the performance requirements of freezing oil are not only very comprehensive and very strict. Therefore, freezing oil is a special lubricating oil for refrigeration system, and can never be replaced by ordinary lubricating oil.

The above refrigerant can be used in refrigeration systems with low pressure (condensation pressure less than 0.3-0.3MPa) high temperature (evaporation temperature greater than 0ºC), medium pressure (condensation pressure 1-2MPa), medium temperature (evaporation temperature 0-50 ºC) and high pressure (condensation pressure greater than 2MPa) low temperature (evaporation temperature less than -50ºC).
