COLD BOX RESIN
Cold box resin is developed for mass production industries such as automobiles, tractors, internal combustion engines, electromechanical and pipe fittings, and is suitable for high-efficiency core making operations under different production conditions. According to different types of catalysts, it is mainly divided into amine cold-box resin and SO2 curing cold-box resin.
Amine cold-box resin process is the main cold-box core-making process, which can be used in the production of cast steel, cast iron and non-ferrous metal castings. The resin system comprise three components, component I is benzyl ether phenolic resin solution, component II is polyisocyanate solution, and component III is tertiary amine catalyst, such as triethylamine, dimethylethanolamine, dimethylpropylamine and dimethylisopropylamine.

General Characteristics:
1. High strength and good toughness, it can reduce cas defects and improve cas yield.
2. Good moisture resistance, it can adapt to high temperature and high humidity environment, good storage of sand core.
3. Good core sand fluidity, high core density, better surface quality.
4. Fast curing, good hard permeability, improved core-making efficiency and reduced triethylamine consumption.
5. The core sand can be used for a long time and is suitable for the demand of core making in summer.
6. The content of harmful substances is low, the working environment is improved, and the environment-friendly degree is high.
Use method:
The cold core box process is a core making and molding process in which a gas catalyst is blown into the box at room temperature and rapidly cured in seconds or tens of seconds.
In actual use, the two components of resin and sand are first mixed, and then the mixture is shot into the core box, and then the gas catalyst is blown in to change the resin from liquid to solid state.
