What is EVA ?
Ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer (EVA) is obtained by copolymerizing ethylene and vinyl acetate in different proportions. The E in the English abbreviation of EVA stands for ethylene, and VA stands for vinyl acetate. Its performance is similar to that of vinyl acetate (VA).
The content is closely related, and can be divided into three categories according to the different VA content: VA content is 5%-40% called EVA plastic, mainly used for polyethylene modification, manufacturing wire and cable, film and other molding products and mixtures;
VAThe content of 40%-90% is called EVA rubber, which is mainly used for rubber, cable and automotive industry parts;
The content of VA is higher than 90%, called polyvinyl acetate emulsion, which is mainly used for adhesives, coatings, etc.
