The Wear Resistant Steel Grades include the most common grade in the designation of AR400, AR450, AR550, and AR600. The number on these grades determines their hardness on the Brinell scale. Ceramic Wear Plate works well in high temperatures and can withstand temperatures up to 2000 degrees C. These plates are commonly seen in applications where wear is combined with extreme pressures and temperatures.

The Creusabro 8000 Plate is one of the highest grades of wear resistant steel. These plates work well in difficult conditions. A Creusabro 8000 Equivalent is generally the grades of Abrex, Sumihard, and Swebor. These componentshave near similar hardness and toughness. Similarly, the Creusabro 4800 Equivalent is near identical to the 8000 grades.
