2. Structural features of functional parts
The blast cleaning machine consists mainly of the shot blasting cabinet, abrasive recycling system, dust-removing system ,electric control system and air control system.
2.1 Shot blasting cabinet
This cabinet is welded by steel plate and section steel, it's with solid structure, Lined with wear resistant Mn13 shield plate inside to protect the frame from hitting by abrasives or avoiding the abrasives out to hurt any people.
The shot blasting cabinet comprises cabinet housing, blast wheel assembly, the door, wind-exhausting openings.
The door is opened and closed by the air cylinder.
2.2.The main features of the blasting wheel
At the entrance of the blasting cabinet there is plate width detecting device; and on one roller of the blasting cabinet roller conveyer, there is impulse-counting device. The different-width plate presses down different number of pressing rollers, according to the signals of the limit switches on the pressing rollers as well as the impulse counting numbers, the PLC controls the opening quantity (only for small dimension plate) and time of the shot valves, to control the flow of the abrasive and to reduce the vacant projecting time, to meet the purpose of "Blasting when there is plate, and stopping when there is not".
This machine adopts large power blast wheels, single wheel abrasive flow rate 125 kg/min, motor power 7.5 kw, projecting speed 76m/s, life of blade 1000 hours.
Blast wheel
This kind of blast wheel features stout, precisely made and high energy; the wear-resistant parts have long life expectancy, and can be replaced easily. Some structural details:
The double-disk is made of tool steel, with good dynamic balancing ability. The blades are inserted into the grooves inside the double-disk.
The specially made wear-resistant casting iron blades and protecting plates assure long life.
The initial acceleration of the abrasive gained inside the distributor rotating synchronously with the blast wheel guarantees the shockless transfer to the blades.
The blades can be replaced easily.
2.3 .Abrasive recycling and purifying system
This system can be divided into the abrasive recycling system and purifying system, they consist of abrasive hopper, abrasive conduit, shot valves, (Blast wheel assemblies), screw conveyors, bucket elevator, abrasive/dust separator, and abrasive distributing screw, etc. The shot valves, screw conveyors, distributing screw, bucket elevator and abrasive/dust separator are interlocked; if the successive element does not work, the preceding element can not be at running status, this avoid the failure caused by the abrasive congestion.
Screw conveyors
The screw conveyor consists of reducer, screw shaft, conveying housing, rolling bearings with bases, etc. It is a kind of standard abrasive/sand horizontal conveying device, is an important part of the abrasive recycling system of the blasting machine.
The screw conveyor is a serialized part of our company, with high universality and interchangeability, and stable and reliable performance. The whole screw shaft is machined after welding to guarantee the coaxialness.
The screw blades if this part adopt 16Mn material; its inner/outer circle is machined with special workmanship; the blade is then stretched. The pitch and outer circle dimension all are precise, thus lengthened the lives.
Elevaing conveyor
To guarantee the reliable running of the line, this machine adopts large conveying capacity high efficient bucket elevator. It consists of reducer, high-elasticity belt, buckets, close-type cage and tightening device, etc.
Characteristics
The enclosure of the elevator is welded after the bending and shaping, on sides of which there is inspection doors, to maintain and replace the buckets. On the sides and front faces of the lower housing there are removable doors installed, to maintain the lower transmission and eliminated the abrasive blockage.
Centrifugal weight type shot discharging. During working, the buckets fixed on the conveying belt scrape the abrasive in the bottom, and then carry it to upper of the elevator, then discharge it depend on the centrifugal force.
The elevator equips with the regression preventing mechanism, to prevent it from reverse rotating when the power supply is accidentally cut off.
Double rows of buckets, elevated the productivity, and prevented the belt from straying.
On the lower shaft of the elevator, there is impulse wheel to detect the working status of the elevator. Once the PLC detects that the shaft is not rotating, it will act immediately and generate a fault alarming, to ensure the safe running of the device.
The elevating capacity has 10% spare. Since the elevator discharge the abrasive depending on the centrifugal force, every discharging, there always is part of abrasive fall into the elevator, then the elevating capacity should be correspondingly enlarged.
Abrasive/dust separator
This machine adopts Model BE full shutter type separator, it is produced by introducing the technique of +GF+ . DISA Company (Switzerland).


Composition
Sifting area, riddle drum, conveying screw, hopper and shot valves.
Working philosophy
The abrasive/dust compound flowing from the elevator is conveyed by the conveying screw into the riddle drum with inner/outer screw blades. The inner screw blades carry the large block impurities to the dregs draining opening on the other side of the separator; the outer screw push the abrasive/dust compound to make them uniformly distributed along the full length of the separator and forms waterfall type abrasive/dust curtain. By the principle of wind sifting, the separator will separate the reusable abrasive, scale, shattered abrasive and dust efficiently; large granulated waste will flow out from the waste opening, fine abrasive and powder will be drawn by the dust collector, and abrasive will enter into the hopper to reuse. The separating efficiency of the separator will be up to 99%.
Abrasive distributing system
This line adopts the patented products of out company - pneumatically controlled shot valve to remotely control the abrasive flow rate. It can avoid such phenomena as burning the motor, blast wheel blockage and idle projecting etc. when the low quality shot valves are used and cannot be completely closed during working.
2.4. Hook System
It consists of hook, reducer device, chain wheel, link chain of electric hoist, etc. 
This system can finish hanging work pieces, lifting work pieces, to transport work pieces to chamber. It can let work pieces rotate automatically by self-driving unit in clean chamber.

2.5 Shot blasting dust collection system
QL series filter cartridge dust collector is a new generation of efficient dust collector designed and manufactured by our company by absorbing advanced foreign technology, which is mainly used in large workshops, shot blasting equipment, etc. for environmental protection dust collection. Dust collection effect: powder emission concentration is less than or equal to 80mg/m3, which is substantially less than the requirements in JB/T8355-96 and GB16297-1996 "Comprehensive Atmospheric Pollutant Emission Standard".
  Dust collection mode: The dust collection is done by long-tested economic and practical filter cartridge dust collector, adopting Venturi tube impulse back blow dust removal system following the Venturi principle and having such advantages as low filter air speed, high filter accuracy, good dust removal effect, etc. Compressed air back blow is adopted.
  What we select is the most advanced and rational three-stage dust collection mode and a uniquely effective dust collection structure: \* MERGEFORMAT
  The first-stage dust collection is by the shot settling chamber designed on the top of the equipment. That settling chamber is a inertial settling chamber meeting the aerodynamic principle, which can achieve effective shot settling and at the same time results in no pressure loss. In addition, in our design, there is also a one-way valve preventing pneumatic conveying at the lower part of the settling chamber so that effective shot settling can be achieved. The purpose of the dust collection of this stage is to solve sand absorption and accumulation in pipes.

  The second-stage dust collection is inertial dust collection. The purpose of the dust collection of this stage is to settle large particles, improve the service life of filter material (because dust particles running at a high speed are a main factor influencing the service life of the filter material of a dust collector).
  The third-stage dust collection is by a long-tested and economic and practical filter cartridge type dust collector. The filter cartridge dust collector is a Venturi tube impulse back blow dust removal system adopting the Venturi principle, having such advantages as low filter air speed, high filter accuracy, good dust removal effect, etc. The bag dust collector can remove dust in many ways, including mechanical tapping, compressed air back flow or high-pressure fan back blow.
  Very high space utilization rate
  The filter element as filter cartridge adopts a folding form to arrange filter material, so that the ratio between the filter area and volume occupation is 30-40 times of traditional filter bag, reaching 300m2/m3. The use of a filter cartridge can make the dust collector more compact in structure, as a result, the land coverage and space occupation by the dust collector is substantially reduced.
  Good energy conservation, long service life of filter material
  Due to dense filter material arrangement, there can be a very large filter area in a relative small volume in the filter cartridge type dust collector, as a result, the filter speed can be reduced with less system resistance, less operating costs and energy conservation. The low filter speed also reduces the damaging wash of air flow to the filter material and extends the service life of the filter cartridge.
  Convenient for use, small maintenance workload  
  In comparison with traditional soft filter bag, the integral filter cartridge has a better securing mode to facilitate transportation, installation and service. One person can conveniently assemble and disassemble it. The maintenance workload is much less.
  Good filter cartridge regeneration
  Adopt impulse, vibration or reverse air flow dust removal can regenerate the filter cartridge easily and the dust removal effect is good. The filter cartridge dust collection technology is an updated product of bag dust collection and a filter technology in the 21st century.
  The powder dust emission concentration in the field working environment is far better than the national environmental protection requirement.

   (3) Working principle of dust collection equipment
   Normal operation
  Under normal operation, air containing dust enters into QL type dust collection through the top entrance, then it passes the filter core after being scattered by the flow guide plate downward and powder dust is prevented on the outer surface of the filter core. The filtered clean air enters into the clean air chamber through the filter core center and is discharged out via the outlet tube.
  Filter cartridge dust removal
  The filter core can automatically and intermittently remove dust in a way that within any given time, only one group (with 2 filter cores) of filter cores undertakes offline dust removal.
  During filter core dust removal, the impulse control instrument switches on the power of an electromagnetic impulse valve to make the corresponding membrance valve spurt impulse high-pressure air, which instantly passes through the filter core from inside to outside to remove the powder dust attached on the outer surface of a filter core. The dust particles fall into the dust hopper and then enters into the dust collecting barrel.
  You had better adjust the compressed air to 6kg/cm2. A compressed air pressure at 6kg/cm2-7kg/cm2 is the most standard setting meeting the dust removal function requirement. The lower the compressed air pressure setting is, the less the air consumption by the impulse valve will be. The impulse blow control instrument can generally be adjusted to clean a row of filter cores every two minutes, that is, switch an impulse valve on every two minutes. To increase the dust removal energy, the compressed air pressure can be increased, but it should not exceed 7kg/cm2.

(4) Introduction to dust collection equipment structure

  The air inlet can be provided on the side face as shown in the figure, which can also be set up on the top. The air outlet can be set up at the lower part of the clean air chamber as shown in the figure, which can also be set up on the side or top face of the clean air chamber.
  Equipment complementing by our company is generally based on an treated air quantity of500m3/hour per filter cartridge. However, in treating superfine powder dust and when the powder dust concentration at the inlet is high, some filter cartridges should be increased appropriately. When necessary, it is imperative to set up the second-stage dust collection to make part of powder dust with large particles settle first. The filter material has a good rigidity and a water repellent property. The filter area is 10m2/piece.
  The company adopts various imported and home-made filter materials to finely manufacture various air filters with such characteristics as small hole diameter, high air permeability, smooth surface, good property of protection against water and oil, low resistance, large filter area, etc. By adopting the internationally advanced new folding curing process, with the end cover and protective net adopting thickened quality electronic boards with a good property of protection against rust and corrosion and with the seal ring adopting low-hardness, high-strength closed cell foam rubber and imported epoxy resin adhesive, such phenomena as adhesive failure, fissure, etc. are avoided thoroughly.
