Function of Propafenone Hydrochloride Propafenone is in a group of drugs called Class IC anti-arrhythmics. It affects the way your heart beats.
Propafenone is used in certain situations to prevent serious heart rhythm disorders.
Application of Propafenone Hydrochlorideintranasal anti-histamines are recommended for the first line therapy of mild intermittent, intermittent and mild persistent rhinitis (new classification system for rhinitis). Propafenone works by slowing the influx of sodium ions into the cardiac muscle cells, causing a decrease in excitability of the cells. Propafenone is more selective for cells with a high rate, but also blocks normal cells more than class Ia or Ib.
