CLIA's dynamic range is improved beyond ELISA with better linearity and discrimination of signal. While ELISA cannot read higher than 3.0 O.D. thus requiring sample dilution, CLIA can read a dynamic range of 106 or 107 significantly increasing assay linearity and reducing overflow.
