170 Black Electronic Potting Silicone Compound Silicone Rubber Encapsulation
Silicone potting compound MC-E170 is supplied as a two-component addition cure system. Silicone potting compound consists of Part A and Part B. When the components are thoroughly mixed in a 1:1 ratio by weight or volume, the liquid mixture cures to a flexible elastomer, which is suited for electrical/electronic potting and encapsulating applications.

Applications of Silicone Rubber For Electronic Encapsulating&Potting
Silicone is a general purpose compound suited for adhesive and coating. This cost-effective silicone can be used in a variety of electronic potting applications including the adhesive and coating for solar power, HID, LCD displayer, circuit board and electronic components, etc.
Using Instructions
1. Preparing: Clean up the coating surface, remove the rust, dust, oil dirt.
2. Pouring: Weigh the silicone and catalyst correctly, mix silicone part A and part B thoroughly, pour onto the electronic components/surface after vacuum degassing.
3. Curing: Room temperature cure or heat-up cure is both workable.
4. It should be use up after open the package, the material must be kept in a cool place sealed well, and it should avoid from contact with moisture in the air.
Note: Mechanical and electrical performance data tested at 25° C 7 days after curing, relative humidity of 55%; All the tested data is average value.
Packing and Storage
1. Silicone rubber is shipped as kits that Part A and B liquid components in separate containers. It is available in packing in 5kg or 20kg,200kg per pail.
2. Silicone rubber must be tightly sealed in cool and dry place, prevented from sun and rain. Transport by non-dangerous goods. It has a shelf life of 12 months.
