Function:
Aspartic acid can regulate the metabolism of brain and nerve. Its L-aspartic acid is widely used as antidote, liver function promoter, fatigue recovery agent and other medical supplies and additives of various cool drinks; Its racemate DL aspartic acid (DL ASP) can be used to synthesize DL aspartic acid potassium magnesium salt, and can be used to treat arrhythmia, tachycardia, heart failure, myocardial infarction, angina pectoris, hepatitis and liver cirrhosis. DL aspartic acid can also be used as a raw material for the synthesis of peptides. Its amino acid derivative (nmdla) can be used as a drug for the treatment of neurological diseases and brain diseases. For example, N-methyl-D-aspartic acid (NMDA), a derivative of aspartic acid, can significantly enhance the excitatory effect of the discharge unit of the optic nerve unit It can be used as one of the important excitatory neurotransmitter receptors in mammalian central nervous system.
