1. Function

This is a convenient and rapid collector of Exhaled Breath Condensate (EBC) Air Sampler for Microbiological Monitoring, the principle is making the exhaled breath gas to meet the cryogenic inner wall of condenser tube, and then forming the liquid.

Exhaled Breath Condensate (EBC) Air Sampler for Microbiological Monitoring, same as saliva, sputum, blood, sweat and urine, which is an important specimen source of testing the physiological and biochemical indexes of human body. Exhaled Breath Condensate contains a large number of volatile and non-volatile substances, the change of these substances can reflect the oxidative damage and inflammation in the respiratory tract, which used to detect the change of the disease.

2. Structure & Principle

The principle of Air Sampler for Microbiological Monitoring is making the exhaled breath gas to meet the cryogenic inner wall of condenser tube, and then forming the liquid, we could use this condensate fluid to make detection.
There is a special separate cover, which enable the exhaled breath gas to form a vortex flow in the centrifuge tube, this flow helps to separate exhaled aerosol particles, the particles is captured by the condensate fluid and improve the concentration.
The blowing pipe is contact with the side wall, which helps blow down the condensate droplets on the side wall continuously, reducing the formation of liquid film. We choose 50ml centrifugal tube to increase the condensation contact area, and the collected condensate liquid can be directly used for inspection or refrigerated preparation.
