| General info | Flumethrin is pyrethroid acaracide composed of a mixture of two diasterioisomers (trans-Z-1 and trans-Z-2, with an approximate ratio 55:45) formed by the reaction of 4-fluoro-3-phenoxybenzaldehyde and trans-(E)-3-[2-chloro-2-(4-chlorophenyl)vinyl-2,2-dimethylcyclopropanecarboxylic acid chloride in the presence of cyanide.
