Psa Oxygen Generator Working Principle
PSA oxygen generator plant is fabricated using advanced Pressure Swing Adsorption technology. As is well-known, oxygen constitutes around 20-21% of atmospheric air. PSA oxygen generator used Zeolite molecular sieves to separate the oxygen from the compressed and purified air. Oxygen with high purity is delivered whereas the nitrogen absorbed by the molecular sieves is directed back into the air through the exhaust pipe.
Pressure swing adsorption (PSA) process is made up two vessels filled with molecular sieves and activated alumina. Compressed air is passed through adsorption tower at 30 degrees C and 93% purity oxygen is generated as a product gas. Nitrogen is discharged as an exhaust gas back into atmosphere. When the molecular sieve bed is saturated, the process is switched to the other bed by automatic valves for oxygen generation. It is done while allowing the saturated bed to undergo regeneration by depressurization and purging to atmospheric pressure. Two vessels keep working alternately in oxygen production and regeneration allowing oxygen is available to the process.

This oxygen plant consists of screw type air compressor, oxygen booster, air buffer tank, refrigerated dryer, filtration equipment, oxygen buffer tank, oxygen generator, oxygen regulator, filling manifold,etc.Step 1: Connecting A&B from the flange of the air compressor to the flange of the refrigerated dryer,using this black DN50 high pressure tube for connection.Step 2: Connecting C&D from the oxygen generator to the oxygen booster, using this black DN50 high pressure tube for connection.Step 3: Connecting F from the oxygen booster to the filling manifold,using this black DN50 high pressure tube for connection.
Step 4: The filling manifold connect to oxygen cylinders.
The following points should be noted during installation:1. The connection between each equipment needs to be sealed!
2. Gaskets and screws need to be tightened!
