Volcanic rock(lava stone or pumice stone) is a kind of vitreous lava with dense pores formed by the rapid decrease of pressure after magma is rapidly cooled during volcanic eruption, and the internal gas rapidly overflows and expands. It is characterized by high strength, heat preservation, heat insulation, sound absorption, fire prevention, acid and alkali resistance, corrosion resistance, no pollution and no radioactivity, etc.
Huabang lava stone has two colors which are red and black with a various size to choose from 3mm to 80mm.
Applications:
Huabang lava stone has been used in the following industries:
--Water treatment: Huabang lava stone can make the ions in the water active (mainly increase the content of oxygen ions) and can slightly release alpha rays and infrared rays, which are good for fish and humans. It could also play a filter role due to its porous property.
-- Substrate material for the growth of aquatic plants: Due to its porous characteristics, it is conducive to the climbing and rooting of aquatic plants. The various mineral components dissolved in lava stone itself are not only conducive to the growth of fish, but also provide fertilizer for the aquatic plants.
-- Succulent plants: Huabang lava stone is used for soil or paving of succulents to increase soil permeability, prevent succulents from rotten roots and prevent pests.
-- Road Pavement: Small lave stones are used for road paving in public areas such as national park, pedestrian walk and city park.
