INTRCTODUION:
Pleated carbon filter is an effective way to remove and prevent odors and fume. It is widely used in the air conditioners.
Fold the activated carbon materials and then support it by the paperboard sheets, metal meshes and other sheet to maintain the rigidity structure. Surround the pleated carbon filter with paperboard, foam, aluminum alloy or galvanized frames. The firm frame can extend the service life of the pleated carbon filter. Additional, the frame can make the pleated carbon filter be installed on the machines or air conditioners easily.
The carbon pleated filter consists of three parts: Activated carbon layer, support layer and frame.
The activated carbon layer has various types, such as the activated carbon foam, activated carbon fiber felts or non-woven fabrics, the sandwich activated carbon cloth.
Different types of activated carbon material are suitable for more applications and can be used in more places.
The support layer is mainly used for maintaining the shape of the pleated carbon filter and ensuring the durability and firmness.
The support layers of pleated carbon filter are various, such as the paperboard strip, expanded meal mesh, welded wire mesh and metal wire. The expanded metal paperboard layer is an entirety with the frame. It is much more economical.
The frame of carbon pleated filter can be galvanized frame, aluminum alloy frame, foam frame and paperboard frame.
The paperboard frame carbon pleated filter is the most economical types, but it is one-off pleated filter, it cannot be used recycled.
The galvanized and aluminum alloy frame can ensure the durability of the pleated filter and the inner activated carbon panel can be replaced, so these types are recycled.

Pleated carbon filter has various types and specifications, depths of the pleated carbon filter are 46mm and 96mm.
