Bifenthrin is an organic substance with a chemical formula of C23H22ClF3O2, a white solid. It is soluble in chloroform, dichloromethane, ether, toluene, heptane, and slightly soluble in pentane. It is one of the new pyrethroid agricultural insecticides that developed rapidly in the 1970s and 1980s, and is widely used in various countries around the world. This product has the characteristics of strong knockdown, broad-spectrum, high efficiency, rapidity, and long residual effect. It is mainly contact and stomach toxic, and has no systemic effect. It can be used to control cotton bollworm, red bollworm, tea looper, tea caterpillar, apple or hawthorn red spider, peach heartworm, cabbage aphid, cabbage caterpillar, cabbage moth, citrus leaf miner, etc.
Bifenthrin is very toxic to fish. The LC50 for rainbow trout (96 hours) is 0.00015 mg/L, and the LC50 (48 hours) for daphnia is 0.00016 mg/L. However, because the agent has a high affinity in the soil and its water solubility is low, the actual impact is relatively small. This agent is moderately toxic to bees and highly toxic to silkworms. Insecticidal activity is very high, mainly for contact killing and stomach toxicity, without systemic and fumigation activity. Its effect is rapid, lasting effect is long, and insecticidal spectrum is wide.

Uses: control cotton bollworm, cotton red spider, peach small heartworm, pear small heartworm, hawthorn spider mite, citrus red spider, yellow spot bug, tea wing bug, cabbage aphid, Pieris rapae, diamondback moth, eggplant red spider, tea thin moth More than 20 kinds of pests, such as greenhouse whitefly, tea looper, tea caterpillar.
