2.Product Description:

Sodium Alignate powder is a kind of natural polysaccharide which exists in kelp, macroalgae and other brown algae. It is a natural product formed by alginic acid in algae and minerals in seawater, alginic acid is a kind of mixed polysaccharide, which is composed of mannose uronic acid (m) and guloronic acid (g) . Widely used alginate products are sodium alginate, potassium alginate, calcium alginate, ammonium alginate and so on.




Sodium alginate powder as a hydrophilic colloid, is soluble in water to form a viscous solution. It can be used as thickener and stabilizer for food and beverage, printing color paste, oil field assistant, etc. .

When alginate encounters calcium ion, it can exchange ions quickly and form gel, which has heat irreversibility. High G-type alginate gel is hard but fragile, while high M-type alginate gel is the opposite, with good flexibility but low hardness. Adjust the two ratios to produce the same strength gel. The gel can be used to make all kinds of bionic food, such as material, mask, waste water treatment agent, fresh-keeping film and so on.
