| Introduction | Dimethoate, whose chemical name is O,O-dimethyl-S-(N-methylcarbamoylmethyl) phosphorodithioate, has a molecular formula of C5H12NO3PS2, and is a common organophosphorus pesticide. It is easily absorbed by plants and transported to the whole plant. It is relatively stable in acidic solution and rapidly hydrolyzed in alkaline solution, so it cannot be mixed with alkaline pesticides. |
