- Q:Can I store the generated electricity?

A:It is technically possible to store electricity. However, this is not yet profitable in the Netherlands. The rise of home batteries is present, but the netting arrangement is there to send generated electricity into the grid at times when you have a surplus and to withdraw it when there is a shortage. These will be settled at the end of the year. This is also known as the Settlement Act.

2.Q: Is solar energy easy to combine with other forms of energy?

A: If you don't produce enough solar energy to meet your own energy consumption, you can use fossil fuels to make up for the rest (unless, of course, you buy green energy from your energy supplier). The costs for this energy are on your energy bill.
