Product Description
Amikacin sulfate is a white or almost white crystalline powder, which is easily soluble in water. Amikacin sulfate is an aminoglycoside antibiotic. This product is suitable for most Enterobacteriaceae bacteria, such as Escherichia coli, Klebsiella, Enterobacter, Proteus, Shigella, Salmonella, Citrobacter, Serratia, etc. It has good effects on Pseudomonas aeruginosa and other Pseudomonas, Acinetobacter, Alcaligenes, etc.; on Neisseria meningitidis, Neisseria gonorrhoeae, Haemophilus influenzae, Ye Ersenia, Campylobacter fetus, Mycobacterium tuberculosis and certain non-tuberculous mycobacteria also have good antibacterial effects, and their antibacterial activity is slightly lower than that of gentamicin. The most prominent advantage of this product is that it is stable to the aminoglycoside inactivating enzymes produced by many intestinal gram-negative bacilli, and will not lose antibacterial activity due to the inactivation of such enzymes.
