UHV transmission lines refer to the transmission of electrical energy at voltage levels of ±800 kV and above for direct current and 1000 kV and above for alternating current. UHV power transmission is developed on the basis of ultra-high voltage power transmission, and its purpose is to continue to improve power transmission capacity, realize high-power medium and long-distance power transmission, and realize long-distance power system interconnection to build a joint power system.
